Performing Navgrah Pooja is thought to mitigate the adverse effects of these planets and bring about positive energy. Here’s a general guide on how Navgrah Pooja can be conducted:

1. Sankalp (Preliminary Resolution): Begin the pooja with a sankalp, a formal declaration of intent, where you express your purpose for performing the Navgrah Pooja and seek the blessings of the deities.

2. Ganesh Pooja: Commence the pooja by worshiping Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, to ensure that the ritual proceeds smoothly.

3. Kalash Puja: Consecrate a Kalash (holy pot) filled with water, betel nuts, flowers, and a coin. This symbolizes the presence of deities during the pooja.

4. Navgrah Idol/ Yantra Pooja: Set up idols or yantras representing each of the nine planets. The Navgrahas include Surya (Sun), Chandra (Moon), Mangal (Mars), Budh (Mercury), Brihaspati (Jupiter), Shukra (Venus), Shani (Saturn), Rahu (North Lunar Node), and Ketu (South Lunar Node).
